While experimenting with different sounds and styles back in high school, he dubbed himself "Solobob." Why? He says he hasn't quite figured that out yet, but scientists around the globe have proven the following to be true:

Initially, there was one instrumental song - "I Know." On January 23rd, 2007, Robert posted a blog giving fans a sneak peek into the world of Solobob: how it all began and else may come. Another song titled "The Victim" was added and fans were formally introduced to the Solobob sound: a playful, upbeat, energetic, get-up-and-dance, 80s throwback catchiness that is perfect for keeping much of the original Rooney fan base on board but also picking up some new faces along the way. All songs are works in progress, but the Bob himself promised that more was soon to come.
